Chapter Meeting minutes are missing for this year, therefore the following is extracted from monthly newsletters and is assumed to be correct:

The Chapter Meetings continued at the Cathay House through this Chapter year.

October's meeting topic was "Energy Conservation - Water Loop Heat Pumps", and the speaker was TW Rogers of AAF Montreal.

In November the meeting topic was "Preventive Maintenance Programs" with speaker Marc Gagnon of EPIX Ltd. of Sherbrooke, Quebec.

January's topic was "Pumping and Piping for High Rise Buildings", and Gilbert Carlson of ITT-Bell & Gossett was the speaker.

February's meeting topic was the "Variable Air Volume Systems". The speaker was Boris Elisayeff of Mark Hot Inc.

The March meeting subject was "MAN, HIS COMFORT AND HIS ENVIRONMENT" - the speaker was Gustav Handegord of the National Research Council.

The April meeting topic was "Controls at the Montreal Olympic Stadium" with speaker Brian Sheridan of Johnson Controls.

May's meeting topic was "Heat Pumps: Their History, Recent Developments, Applications and Future" with speaker Dan Mahoney of Fedders Corporation. At May’s meeting the following slate of Officers were elected in by the members:
President - Jim Black
Vice-President - Bob McKee
Secretary - Ralph Warring
Treasurer - Jack Bowie
Board of Governors - John Legault, Dwayne Mattson, & Ray Young

Presumably, President Grant Wilson turned over his office to the incoming president Jim Black and thanked the executive for their assistance during the past year.
