ASHRAE OVC – Rideau Canal Boat Cruise

Event Description:

The Ottawa Valley Chapter’s YEA, Membership Promotion, and Student Activities Committees are pleased to invite all ASHRAE Members – including YEA Members and Student Members – their non-member guests, and future/prospective members for a social night on the scenic Rideau Canal, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which weaves through our capital! The event will be hosted on Thursday, September 25th, 2025, beginning at 6:00pm; the boat will depart promptly at 6:30pm from its mooring behind the National Arts Centre (NAC). The boat is North America’s first 100% electric solar-powered vessel and features a fully licensed bar as well as a narrated sightseeing tour throughout the evening. Registration is at a discounted group rate of $40 CAD per person (regularly $58 per person) with a Student Member discount rate of $30 CAD per person available. Don’t miss this opportunity to kick-off the ASHRAE year and mingle with your peers!

Please note that the vessel is covered and the event will proceed rain or shine (barring any extreme weather events).
